Informativa sui Cookie
- di prima parte, installati direttamente dal sito che stai visitando;
A) Cookie tecnici e necessari (prima parte). Comprendono:
- cookie di sessione, che permettono la navigazione tra le pagine e l'invio sicuro dei moduli (modulo di candidatura come consulente di viaggio, modulo di richiesta preventivo di viaggio, modulo per lasciare una recensione);
- cookie e/o dati di archiviazione locale del browser che memorizzano le preferenze dell'utente, tra cui la scelta espressa nel banner cookie, così da non riproporlo a ogni visita;
- Bunny Stream (BunnyWay d.o.o., Slovenia): riproduzione dei video incorporati nelle pagine;
- Google Fonts (Google LLC): caratteri tipografici scaricati dai server di Google;
- Pexels: immagini;
- Unsplash: immagini;
- pixabay.com (Pixabay): immagini e file;
- www.thetrainline.com (Trainline): immagini e file.
- Bunny Stream (BunnyWay d.o.o., Slovenia). Terza parte.
- Google Fonts (Google LLC, Stati Uniti). Terza parte.
- www.thetrainline.com (Trainline). Terza parte.
122 D.lgs. 196/2003 e art. 6, par. 1, lett. a, GDPR).
- tramite il banner cookie del sito: riapri le impostazioni dei cookie dal collegamento dedicato presente nel sito e accetta, rifiuta o personalizza le categorie non necessarie;

Cookie Policy
Effective from 02/11/2026
This Cookie Policy describes the cookies and similar technologies used by the website ‘Manuela Mattia Travel Designer’, in accordance with Article 122 of Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003, Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the Italian Data Protection Authority's Guidelines on cookies and other tracking tools of 10 June 2021. It explains which tools are present, for what purposes, for how long, and how you can manage or withdraw your choices.
1. What cookies are and who the Data Controller is
Cookies are small text files that websites send to your device (computer, smartphone, tablet), where they are stored and sent back to the same websites on your next visit. They serve different purposes, such as enabling navigation, remembering preferences and improving the user experience. Similar technologies also exist (for example the browser's local storage, or the mere request of a resource from an external server, which involves transmitting the IP address) and the same rules apply to them.
Cookies may be:
- first-party, set directly by the website you are visiting;
- third-party, set by a party other than the website operator because the page loads one of its resources (videos, fonts, images).
The Data Controller is Manuela Mattia (Tax Code MTTMNL88C53F262D), with address at Rua do Cabo da Boa Esperanca 6, 3D, 2805-106, Almada, Setubal, Portugal. Contact details: email contacts.manuelamattia@gmail.com, telephone +351910421105.
The website is built and hosted on the WebVoyage platform, which acts as Data Processor limited to technical hosting and infrastructure management. The servers (including CDN and backups) are provided by OVHcloud at a data center located in Canada. The transfer of data to Canada is based on the European Commission's adequacy decision (Decision 2002/2/EC, Article 45 GDPR) and, where applicable, on Standard Contractual Clauses.
2. Types of cookies and similar technologies used by the website
The website uses the following categories of tools.
A) Technical and necessary cookies (first-party). These are essential for the website to work and cannot be disabled through the banner. They include:
- session cookies, which allow navigation between pages and the secure submission of forms (the application form to become a travel consultant, the travel quote request form, and the form to leave a review);
- cookies and/or browser local storage data that store the user's preferences, including the choice made in the cookie banner, so that it is not shown again on every visit;
- security and load-balancing cookies necessary to deliver the service from the hosting infrastructure.
B) Non-necessary third-party cookies and resources. Some pages load content provided by external parties. When the resource is requested, the provider receives at least your IP address and the technical data of your browser and may, depending on the case, set its own cookies or identifiers. These tools are activated only after you give consent through the banner. The services present are:
- Bunny Stream (BunnyWay d.o.o., Slovenia): playback of videos embedded in the pages;
- Google Fonts (Google LLC): typefaces downloaded from Google's servers;
- Pexels: images;
- Unsplash: images;
- pixabay.com (Pixabay): images and files;
- www.thetrainline.com (Trainline): images and files.
C) Analytics, marketing and profiling cookies. The website does NOT use analytics, marketing or advertising profiling cookies, nor tools tracking behaviour for commercial purposes, nor social network pixels.
D) Sending of emails. The website sends emails (form notifications, confirmations and communications related to your requests) through Postmark, a service of ActiveCampaign, LLC (United States), a sub-processor of WebVoyage. This is a server-side activity that does not involve placing cookies on your device; the related processing is described in the Privacy Policy. The transfer to the United States is based on ActiveCampaign, LLC's participation in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (European Commission adequacy decision of 10 July 2023, Article 45 GDPR) and, on a subsidiary basis, on Standard Contractual Clauses.
3. Purpose, duration and nature (first or third party) of each category
The durations indicated are approximate; for third-party cookies, the actual duration is set by the provider and can be found in its policy (see the links in section 6).
- Session and security cookies. First-party (WebVoyage platform, OVHcloud infrastructure, Canada). Purpose: navigation, operation of forms, security and stability of the service. Duration: limited to the browsing session, i.e. until the browser is closed.
- Preference and consent cookies/local storage (cookie banner). First-party. Purpose: remembering your cookie choices and display preferences. Duration: up to 12 months at most, after which the banner may be shown again.
- Bunny Stream (BunnyWay d.o.o., Slovenia). Third-party. Purpose: delivery and playback of embedded videos; the provider receives the IP address and technical device data needed for transmission. Duration: set by the provider; where cookies or identifiers are set, they are normally session-based or short-lived. The provider is established in the European Union (Slovenia).
- Google Fonts (Google LLC, United States). Third-party. Purpose: display of the website's typefaces, downloaded from Google's servers; the provider receives the IP address and technical browser data. Duration: set by the provider. The transfer to the United States is based on the adequacy decision relating to the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (Article 45 GDPR), to which Google LLC adheres, and, on a subsidiary basis, on Standard Contractual Clauses.
- Pexels, Unsplash, pixabay.com. Third-parties. Purpose: display of images and files hosted on the servers of these services; each provider receives the IP address and technical browser data needed to deliver the resource and may set its own technical cookies or identifiers. Duration: set by each provider. Where the provider or its servers are located outside the EU/EEA (for example in the United States), the transfer is based on a European Commission adequacy decision (including the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, where the provider participates in it) or, failing that, on Standard Contractual Clauses.
- www.thetrainline.com (Trainline). Third-party. Purpose: display of images and files hosted on the service's servers, with receipt of the IP address and technical browser data. Duration: set by the provider. As the service is based in the United Kingdom, the transfer is based on the European Commission's adequacy decision relating to the United Kingdom (Article 45 GDPR) and, where necessary, on Standard Contractual Clauses.
The technical data received by the hosting provider (WebVoyage/OVHcloud) at each visit, including the IP address, are processed to deliver the website and ensure its security.
4. Legal basis and consent
- Technical and necessary cookies: consent is not required under Article 122(1) of Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003. Processing is based on the Data Controller's legitimate interest in delivering the service requested by the user and ensuring its security (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) and, for the operation of forms, on the performance of pre-contractual measures requested by the data subject (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Non-necessary third-party cookies and resources (Bunny Stream videos, Google Fonts, images and files from Pexels, Unsplash, pixabay.com and www.thetrainline.com): these are activated only with your prior consent given through the cookie banner (Article 122 of Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003 and Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). Consent is freely given, specific and informed; refusing it or ignoring the banner does not prevent access to the website, but some content (for example videos, images or fonts) may not display correctly.
The Data Controller keeps a record of your choice in the preferences cookie in order to demonstrate that consent has been given. Your choice will not be requested again for at least six months, unless there are significant changes to the processing or it is not possible to determine the choice already made.
5. How to manage or withdraw your consent
You may change or withdraw your choices at any time, as easily as you gave them:
- through the website's cookie banner: reopen the cookie settings from the dedicated link on the website and accept, reject or customise the non-necessary categories;
- through your browser settings: you can block or delete cookies from the Privacy/Security menu of the browser you use (for example Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge). Disabling technical cookies may impair the operation of some parts of the website, such as the submission of forms.
Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal. Cookies already installed can be deleted from your browser at any time.
To exercise the rights provided for in Articles 15-22 GDPR (access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection) or for any request concerning this policy, write to contacts.manuelamattia@gmail.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority; in Italy this is the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (www.garanteprivacy.it).
